Bu politika, Mepy uygulaması ve mepy.app üzerinden hangi verileri işlediğimizi ve nasıl koruduğumuzu açıklar. KVKK / GDPR ilkelerine uygun hareket etmeyi hedefleriz. Mepy yalnızca 17 yaş ve üzeri kullanıcılar içindir.

1. Topladığımız veriler

Hesap: e-posta, görünen ad, kullanıcı adı, profil fotoğrafı, şehir/ilçe, biyografi, ilgi alanları, doğum tarihi (17+ kontrolü).
İçerik: etkinlikler, mesajlar, anılar/hikâyeler, sesli oda katılımı meta verisi.
Cihaz / teknik: cihaz tipi, uygulama sürümü, push bildirim token’ı.
Konum: yakındaki etkinlikleri ve haritayı göstermek için, yalnızca izin verirsen (Ayarlar’dan kapatılabilir).
Kamera / galeri / mikrofon: profil, hikâye, sohbet, etkinlik anısı ve sesli oda / sesli mesaj için, yalnızca sen seçtiğinde.
Destek: bize yazdığın mesajlar ve raporlar.

2. Kullanım amaçları

Hizmeti sunmak (hesap, eşleşme, sohbet, bildirim, sesli oda).
Güvenlik, kötüye kullanım ve spam önleme.
Ürünü iyileştirmek ve hataları gidermek.
Yasal yükümlülükleri yerine getirmek.

3. İçerik tarama

Herkese açık görseller (profil fotoğrafı, hikâye, etkinlik anısı) otomatik güvenlik taramasından geçebilir (ör. Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch). Özel sohbet (DM) medyası bu taramaya gönderilmez. Reddedilen görseller paylaşılmaz.

4. Paylaşım

Verilerini satmayız. Reklam veya izleme ağı kullanmayız. Hizmet altyapısı için güvenilir sağlayıcılar kullanırız: kimlik doğrulama ve veritabanı (Supabase), bildirim (Firebase), harita (Google Maps), sesli oda (LiveKit). Yasaların gerektirdiği durumlarda yetkili mercilerle paylaşım yapılabilir.

5. Saklama ve hesap silme

Veriler, hesabın aktif olduğu süre ve yasal saklama süreleri boyunca tutulur. Hesabını uygulama içinden Ayarlar → Hesabı sil ile silebilirsin; ayrıca mail@mepy.app üzerinden de talep edebilirsin. Silme / anonimleştirme makul süre içinde işlenir.

6. Hakların

Erişim, düzeltme, silme, kısıtlama ve itiraz taleplerini mail@mepy.app adresine iletebilirsin.

7. Çerezler / izleme

mepy.app tanıtım sitesi temel işlev için zorunlu çerezler kullanabilir. Pazarlama çerezleri, reklam kimliği ve üçüncü taraf izleme kullanılmaz.

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data we process through the Mepy app and mepy.app, and how we protect it. We aim to follow KVKK / GDPR principles. Mepy is only for users 17 years and older.

1. Data we collect

Account: email, display name, username, profile photo, city/district, bio, interests, date of birth (17+ check).
Content: events, messages, memories/stories, voice room participation metadata.
Device / technical: device type, app version, push notification token.
Location: to show nearby events and the map, only if you allow it (can be turned off in Settings).
Camera / photos / microphone: for profile, stories, chat, event memories, and voice rooms / voice messages, only when you choose to use those features.
Support: messages and reports you send us.

2. Purposes of use

Provide the service (account, matching, chat, notifications, voice rooms).
Security, abuse, and spam prevention.
Improve the product and fix issues.
Meet legal obligations.

3. Content scanning

Public images (profile photo, stories, event memories) may go through automated safety scanning (e.g. Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch). Private chat (DM) media is not sent to this scan. Rejected images are not shared.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not use ads or tracking networks. We use trusted providers for infrastructure: authentication and database (Supabase), notifications (Firebase), maps (Google Maps), voice rooms (LiveKit). We may share data with authorities when required by law.

5. Retention and account deletion

Data is kept while your account is active and for legally required periods. You can delete your account in-app via Settings → Delete account, or by emailing mail@mepy.app. Deletion / anonymization is processed within a reasonable time.

6. Your rights

You can send access, correction, deletion, restriction, and objection requests to mail@mepy.app.

7. Cookies / tracking

The mepy.app marketing site may use essential cookies for basic functionality. Marketing cookies, advertising IDs, and third-party tracking are not used.
